Timpanogos in color
This mountain has the distinction of being the most popular peak to climb in Utah. Known by locals as “Timp”, it is the second highest peak at 11,749’ in the Wasatch Front. Local legend spins the tale of the mountain being named for an indian maiden, and other Native American sources named the mountain for it’s unique outcropping of rock formations. Either way, it is one of Utah’s most recognized mountains and exudes alpine beauty.
